Rehabilitation case
A thoroughbred gelding with really awful feet is my latest rehabilitation case. His feet are in terrible condition, exhibiting wall flares and splits as a result of advanced white line disease and overgrown walls.

Left front foot - the worst.
The walls are badly split and flared. |

After the initial trim. A long way to go, but they will only improve from here. |

29 July 2006
Second trim. Getting some shape. The white line disease readily apparent, but this should grow out in a few months time. The toe wall on the left is completely detached for a few centimetres, so has been pared back. |
